Introduction
Infosec IQ allows QR codes to be used in place of a clickable link inside PhishSim templates. The QR codes are unique to each learner, and are functionally the same as clicking the link, except users must scan the QR code with their mobile device in order to get marked as phished.
Creating QR Code Templates
Navigate to PhishSim > Email Templates, and then click New Template. Within the PhishSim template editor you’ll find a new QR CODE block available for use. While creating a QR code template, the QR code shown will link to this article.
Click Preview In Browser to see what the finished template will look like. There are two things to keep in mind with the preview experience:
- A QR code will not be displayed in the preview or preview email unless a learner is selected.
- The QR code used in the preview or preview email will not link to an education page.
